October 2018 saw the release of Roger Daltrey's long-awaited autobiography, Thanks A Lot Mr. The set was recorded during his 2018 tour stops in Budapest and Bethel in upstate New York - the scene of the first Woodstock festival 50 years ago, where the Who performed Tommy in its entirety. In June 2019, Daltrey released a live album, The Who's Tommy Orchestral. ![]() WHO hit the UK charts at Number Three - and still marks the Who's best charting album in the States since 1978's Who Are You - which also peaked at Number Two. The band's latest album, WHO, was released on December 6th, 2019 and entered the Billboard 200 at Number Two. The limited edition orange and yellow vinyl features the remastered album plus a bonus disc of unreleased and rare material and comes with a poster. The double-album release includes a half speed master of the album along with rare and unreleased material, including the Roger Daltrey vocal version of “Eminence Front.” The pair will be backed by Pete's younger brother and longtime Who touring guitarist Simon Townshend, Phil Spalding, Jodie Linscott, Billy Nicholls, Geraint Watkins, Charlie Hart, and Andy Cutting.Ĭoming on Record Store Day - April 23rd - is a 40th Anniversary release of the Who's It's Hard. Prior to the tour, on March 25th, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will front an acoustic band at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of the 2022 Teenage Cancer Trust concert. The fall leg launches on October 2nd at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena and winds down over two nights - November 4th and 5th - at Las Vegas' Dolby Live.
